God has a lot to say about thanksgiving - not the holiday, but the act of giving thanks. That is because he knows how important it is for our hearts, our minds, and our lives.
In reality, what God describes and desires for us is more than just giving thanks - it is living it. That’s why we are going to spend the Sundays leading up to Thanksgiving looking at a better way to give thanks than a few hours and some turkey. We might call it ThanksLiving.

What is a Lutheran?
Many people wonder that question. Some are misled or misinformed.
A simple definition of Lutheran is “classic Christianity.” We use the name Lutheran because that is what distinguished believers who took a stand where Martin Luther did during the Reformation - that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, found in Scripture alone.
This Sunday, as we celebrate the Festival of the Lutheran Reformation, that is what we focus on and celebrate:
Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone!
Join us for a our 1st Candy Corner Fall Festival @Foundation!
This family-friendly afternoon will have a trunk or treat, games for kids, and raffles and prizes for adults!
Bring a donation for Fresh Start Center and be entered into a raffle for gift cards and prizes from local businesses! Most needed items: cereal, jellies, canned fruits, syrup, wipes, diapers, feminine hygeine.
Willing to donate candy to hand out at the event? Bring a bag any Sunday in October and put it in the container in the Gathering Room.
